A Short Life of Trouble: Forty Years in the New York Art World is absolutely amazing. I picked it up from a used bookstore in Hudson, NY and from the moment I opened it I couldn’t put it down. For anyone looking for a new book here it is. Marcia Tucker, founder of the New Museum of Contemporary Art, shares her failures, achievements and over-all optimism not only of the art world but life as well. This book is truly inspiring.

Ragged Edge
I am feeling really good about things. Tonight I started the process of binding a new sketch book. Soon I will be adding the black leather covers. BIGGER news, I found a printmaking studio in Cohoes called Ragged Edge Print Studio. They have open studios on Wednesday and it is just so great! I can’t wait to check it out. About a month ago I was just saying how I wish there was a printmaking studio around me and guess what… there is!!
